Picture above shows that public properties had been vandalised. Vandalism is defined as the deliberate
destruction or defacement of another person's property without permission. Common causes of vandalism
include personal attitudes, lack of meaningful activities, peer pressure, and negative feelings like anger or
boredom. Destroying public phones were very common those days. Some irresponsible people destroy it by
hitting the phone to take coins from it. Even the handsets are pulled of. Other than that, spraying unnecessary
words or drawings on wall were very common too. These people started to express it on wall. I have been seeing
all these since i were young. Most of the public properties were vandalised. For examples, physical vandalism
include broken windows, trash dumping, sign damage or theft, billboard defacing, and infrastructure theft (like
stealing pipes or wires). In addition, a step that can be taken to overcome vandalism among adolescents is to
provide a special space for them to create or engage in beneficial activities.
