I am pleased to submit a manuscript titled "Hidradenoma of the scalp: a case report

and review of the literature on this rare disease" for consideration for publication in
the Journal of the Egyptian National Cancer Institute. This manuscript presents a
unique case of hidradenoma of the scalp, a benign and rare tumor, and offers a
comprehensive review of the existing literature on this uncommon entity.

The case report details the clinical presentation, diagnostic process, histopathological
findings, and successful surgical management of a patient with scalp hidradenoma.
Additionally, it discusses the differential diagnoses and provides an overview of the
current literature, highlighting the rarity of such cases and the importance of
awareness among clinicians for appropriate diagnosis and management.

We believe that this case report and literature review will be of interest to the readers
of the Journal of the Egyptian National Cancer Institute, given its relevance to
oncological practices. The detailed documentation of this rare case, coupled with a
thorough literature review, offers valuable insights for both clinical and research
communities.

The manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration for
publication elsewhere. All authors have contributed significantly to the work and are
in agreement with the content of the manuscript. We have adhered to the ethical
