First Observation of Tripping / Stoppage :
Jet Pump#1 tripped on thermal Overload, Feeder was physically inspected and observed the Power
contactor one phase failed.
Reasons of B/D :
1) Contactor might be deteriorated & in the extreme condition a flashover occurred.
2) Voltage stress might be a cause.
3) Moisture might also be a factor which caused the failure of the contactor.
Action Taken to Prevent:
1) Establishing thermal imaging camera for maintenance priorities.
Root Cause Analysis Tripping/ Stoppage:
 Jet Pump#1 tripped on thermal Overload, contactor was removed from position and observed
internal flashover due to rise in temperature. This rise in temperature could be observed when
the contactor power terminal deteriorates.
