I am writing to apply for the position of instructor in your organization for department of
“Medical laboratory” and/or “Public Health”.
I graduated from Jimma University, Medical Laboratory Technology Department and received
BSc Degree by Medical Laboratory Technology with a CGPA of 3.5 in July 2013, and I graduated
my second degree from Debre Berhan University Public Health department in Epidemiology with
a CGPA of 3.8 and Master Thesis score of “Excellent” on July 28, 2020.
I had served as instructor and department coordinator in Debre Berhan Health Science College for
2 years and 1 month in Medical laboratory department. I had also worked in Victory college Debre
Berhan campus by part-time by teaching Medical laboratory courses starting from October 2018
to February 2021. Beside of the academic experience, I amassed clinical experience by working at
different organization as laboratory technologist at hospital level and satellite laboratory technician
for NGO project. Now, I am working with both Medical laboratory Technology profession and
my second degree Epidemiology profession in KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation as Research
Assistant for different projects starting from February 17, 2021. My work have shaped my
recent teaching experiences on Epidemiology, research methods and Laboratory
courses.
I am therefore confident that my teaching experience, my skill in working with clinical
institution and my research interests all make me an best candidate for instructor in your
