❖ Rendered technical assistance in the review of GAD
plan and budget (GPB) of all municipalities and cities of
the province of Albay
❖ Monitor all GAD PPAs of every department of the
Provincial Government of Albay.

❖Distribution of VAW desk hand book to the different


barangays in the province of Albay
FACILITATING FACTORS IN PURSUING
GENDER MAINSTREAMING
➢ Mentoring different LGUs in the formulation of GAD Plan and Budget, GAD
Accomplishment Reports, LGU GAD Code, etc.

➢ Providing technical assistance to LGUs in the review of GAD Plan and Budget of
the different LGUs in the Province of Albay for submission to DILG.

➢ Dissemination/updates on the JMCs issued by DILG, DBM, COA, NEDA, PCW,


etc.
FACILITATING FACTORS IN PURSUING
GENDER MAINSTREAMING
➢ Team Building activities to heighten commitment of GFPS-TWG
members in gender mainstreaming.

➢ Year-End Assessment/Evaluation of GAD Plan and Budget


implementation as well organizational assessment of strengths and
weaknesses in pursuit of gender mainstreaming in all programs and
policies.
ACTIONS BEING UNDERTAKEN TO
ADRESS THE CONCERNS OF THE GFPS

➢ Institutionalization of GAD Office in the Province.


➢ Conduct of periodic meetings of the GFPS-TWG members to discuss
issues and concerns in GAD PPA implementation.
➢ Continuous provision of technical assistance and request for re-
orientation to the old and new members of the GFPS in
mainstreaming gender perspective to programs, projects and
policies.
