Qualification: COMPUTER GRADUATE (BS, BCS, BE)
Desired Professional Experience: 1-2 YEARS
Additional Certifications (If Data Warehousing, SSRS, SSIS, BI Tools
required): (Power BI, IBM Cognos)
Skills Required: Capacity to use SQL/Oracle Databases
with ease.
Knowledge of Data warehousing, ETL
tools and BI technologies.
MS SQL Server, Integration Services and
Reporting Services
Strong TSQL scripting abilities and
understanding of complex stored
procedures, views, data
aggregation/manipulation through table
joins/queries, database design,
normalization and de-normalization
techniques
Strong problem-solving and analytical
skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team.
Self-driven, flexible, and innovative.
Overview:
The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer works collaboratively with end users to
develop reporting systems that provide accessible information for decision-
making, using customized warehouse data to solve organizational problems
through reports, analysis, and data visualization.
The incumbent will provide enterprise-wide data warehouse expertise with
emphasis on data design, access, usage, security, and quality of information
assets and manage BI platforms.
Responsibilities:
1. Analyse business processes and systems and translate business needs into

technical specifications.
2. Build and maintain data warehouse design to generate reports on financial
and market intelligence to aid in business performance monitoring and
business decision making.
3. Assists in implementing effective business analytics practices that drive
improved decision making, efficiency and performance.
4. Development of Data Models and BI Dashboards/Reports that provide
accessible information to support business performance monitoring.
5. Installation and Maintenance of data analytics platforms.
6. Evaluating and improving existing BI systems.
7. Conducting troubleshooting on BI models.
8. Collaborating with co-workers to facilitate the creation of large, complex
developments, as required.
