BIO NOTE

Jacqueline Montero Placido, born February, 7, 1989, from Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
She finished her 2-year course of Associate in Health Science Education and
graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at Northern Christian College. She
passed her Licensure Examination last 2012 with an average score of 78%. She
worked in different settings, in a hospital at first but the pay was very minimal. So
switch by being a customer representative in a BPO company in Clark. Then she
works as a Field Nurse for an insurance company and as the pandemic hits, she loses
her employment. She also had two trainings in TESDA and got certificates in Beauty
Care and Cookery.

She started writing just last year on a reading and writing platform called Wattpad.
She gained a lot of readers and followers, that’s why she got an opportunity to write
in Stary Writing, a platform based in Singapore. She started working there as an
Exclusive Writer in December 2021.

She loves to read books and started to write since she was in high school, though she
gained her confidence and started posting stories online just last year. As of now she
has 2952 followers on her profile on Dreame and Yugto. She gained more than 200,
000 reads on her first novel and her other stories are gaining more reads everyday.
She is also chosen as part of the 100 Most Anticipated Writers held by the platform
last year. As of now, being a writer in Stary is her source of income. She is currently
writing an English novel for the Dreame Love Contest.

Although she left the medical field, writing is her passion and where she is happy at.
She plans to publish one of her books someday. She hopes to be a successful writer
and being a writer on a popular platform is a good way to start.
