At the box overhangs on Gridlines P and part of M, the detail references 8/S6-1.1 and other details on that page.
These overhangs are only 7 1/4" on M and 9 3/8" on P.
With fascia and a 2x6 vertical there is no room for a 3x ledger.
Can these soffits have a 2x ledger and a 2x4 vertical?
Can the 2x ledger be attached with 16d commons?

Awaiting an Official Response

It is acceptable to use a 2x ledger and 2x4 studs for these locations. The ledger can
attach to the studs with (2) 16d in lieu of SDS screws.
