Swiss GP, Belgian GP, French GP, Italian GP)
- Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Ferrari, Talbot-Lago, ERA (Equipe Gordini, using ERA
chassis), Alta, HWM (Hersham and Walton Motors)
- First ever Champion - Giuseppe Farina with Alfa Romeo
