2. Miniproject Title:

A Quantitative Analysis of Sustainable Water Management: Examining Water Demand Trends


and the Adoption of Rainwater Harvesting in Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa City

3. Objectives:

The objective of the study are to (a) project the water demand in Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa
City, considering the adoption of rainwater harvesting. (b) explore the positive impacts of
rainwater harvesting on water supply and management, encompassing economic and
environmental factors. and (c) evaluate the advantages of rainwater harvesting for the residents of
Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa City

The researchers have chosen respondents from 4 area cluster including SMC (Soldiers, Mutual, and
Camella Areas, Putatan Proper, Lakeview and Summitville in Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa City
5. Methodology

All of the data gathered was requested from the barangay of Putatan and researched online. The
chosen areas are SMC, Lakeview, Summitville, and Putatan proper; each of these will have 25
respondents. Utilizing clustered random sampling is very effective during the survey, which
helps the researchers finish the survey within one day.

After taking all the respondent with a total of 100, the information gathered will be useful. The
researchers decide to use a statistical tools Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Post-hoc test to
analyze the collected data, with reference to adoption and activities between socioeconomic
classes of the population of barangay Putatan, this instrument will be used to determine and
compare the mean of the four subgroups (Smc, Lakeview, Summitvile, and Putatan Proper).
