前 言
BWY(WTYK)-802、803 系列变压器用压力式温度控制器,主要是为了测量
和控制 1000KVA 以上大型油浸式变压器和油浸式电抗器油温而专门设计的。本
系列温控器具有良好的户外防护性能,能在户外条件下长期正常工作,仪表内
部装有三组大容量控温开关,可分别用于变压器冷却系统的启动、关闭和信号报
警。为了能使中心机房获得实时温度信号,本系列控制器可配套数显温度仪 ,同
步显示变压器油温,若有需要可与计算机联网。

一、结构与工作原理
1、结构
a. 温控器测温系统主要由弹性元件、毛细管、感温头及填充介质组成,这四部
分组成密闭系统。(详见图 1)。
1) 感温头,用于感受被测物质的温度,通常直接与被测物质接触;
2) 毛细管:用于传输位置位移量的通道;
3) 弹性元件;发生位移量的零件;
4) 填充介质:产生体积变化,并能传递的介质。
b.温控器控制信号部分
1) 触杆:位移量传递机构,用来触动微动开关;
2) 微动开关:输出开关量信号电器。
c.温控器运行信号输出部分
1) 嵌入感温头内的 Pt100 或安装在温控器表头部分的位置;
2) 中 心 机 房 的 数 显 温 度 仪 ( XMT ) , 可 输 出 标 准 信 号 为 ( 4~20mA) 、
(1~5V)
2.工作原理

温控器应用“热 胀冷
缩”原理,在密闭系统内充满了感温介质。当感温头放入被测物质中,而物质的
温度发生变化时,由于填充介质的热胀冷缩,感温头内部的填充介质发生了体
积变化,这体积变化通过毛细管传递至表头内部的弹性元件,使之发生了相应
位移,该位移量经放大机构放大后,便可直接指示被测物质的温度。同时,位移
量传递给触杆,可以触发微动开关,使微动开关改变状态,输出信号,来驱动
冷却系统,从而达到控制变压器油温温升的目的。
为了适应技术不断发展的要求,确保变压器正常运行温控器(TH)型在
原有的感温头上嵌入 Pt100 热电阻,使之在同一时间能输出多组温度信号,此
信号能远传数百米至中心机房,通过数显温度仪(XMT) ,同步显示变压器油
温,从而达到控制变压器油温。

五、BWY-802、803 系列温控器安装和使用说明
1.接线和开关设定
a. 接线:首先将仪表表盖上的四个螺钉拧开(用扳手),打开表盖,松开引线端盖(详
见图四),先将工艺电缆取出,然后将电缆,引入引线接头,按功能正确连接(详见图
五)再将引线端盖旋紧。
注意:引线必须连接可靠,紧固螺钉必须旋紧,防止在运输过程中松动,内部机构请勿乱动。
b. 开关设定:温控器出厂前均己调整到标准设定点,用户如需改变设定值,可自行设定。
操作方法:直接用于旋转设定旋钮,使旋钮刻度线对准用户所需温度值即可。(详见
图六)
c. 以上两项完成后,将表盖复原,并均匀拧紧四个表盖螺钉即可。
注意:最高指示指针(红色)必须放在高于温度指示针(黑色)所指示的温度上。(详
见图七)
2.感温头安装
安装前首先将变压器油注安装孔。(详见图八)然后,松开 M18×1.5 空心螺栓(其作
用是调节感温头插入深度)拧紧 M27×2 安装接头。将感温头插入合适的深度,保证全部被
油浸没。最后在空心螺栓与安装接头之间填入填料,拧紧空心螺栓即可。
注意:在安装过程中千万不要随意转动毛细管部分,避免损坏整个测量系统。
3.毛细管道安装
尽量将毛细管放成自然状态,并用线扣加以固定,不能随意移动。若毛细管过长,则
弯曲半径不得小于 75mm
六、XMT 数显温度计使用
为了远端中心机房能实时监控变压器的油温,专门为 BWY-802A(TH)、BWY-803(TH)配
置一只 XMT 数显温度计。此 XMT 仪表信号由现场 BWY-802A(TH)、BWY-803(TH)温控器感
温头内部嵌装 Pt100 铂电阻提供。两者之间必须用 PVV3×1 电缆线连接(由供电施工单位铺
设)。XMT 采用了三线制引线方式连接 Pt100,这种引线方式能有效克服引线长度对仪表的
影响。一般具有数百米的传输能力。
1.首先将 XMT 用机架,安全、可靠固定在中心控制机房的仪表盘上,具体尺寸详见图

2.将输入信号的电缆[来自 BWY-802A(TH)、803A(TH)]PVVP3×1,上、下限输出信
号及电源线,可靠地与 XMT 接线端子连接,详见图十(成套接线总图)虚线部分为现场用
户自行接线。
3.检查连接无误,然后打开电源,进行上、下温度值设定。先将面板上的功能选择开
关,拨至下限位置,旋动下限设定温度旋钮,直到显示屏上显示你所需的温度值,下限温
度值即设置完毕,上限温度值,也可用同样方式设置。设置完毕,必须将选择开关拨至中
位(测量位)。详见图十一。
八、注意事项
1. 温控器检验时必须按照压力式温度计的检定规程(JB/T6302-92)进行。即温包必须全
部浸入在恒温槽内,表头必须垂直安装。若在常温空气中,就不能严格按 1.5 级精密度
来判断。
2. 温控器接线和安装过程中均应小心轻放,请严格按说明书要求进行。
3. 打开表盖时,请使用梅花扳手。合盖时四点均匀对称拧紧,以免影响仪表密封性。
4. 安装时,多余毛细管应盘为直径 150 毫米以上环圆状。每隔 300 毫米应对护套毛细管做
适当的固定(如用细铜丝扎结等)。
5. 数显温度计的检验可根据 Pt100 分度值采用标准电阻箱作为信号输入,也可与
802A、803A 连接 R1R2R3 后在恒温槽内进行。
6. 现场安装时,必须注意温包应全部插入有油的套管内,温包进入有油的套管内深度至
少不应小于 150 毫米。

Preface
BWY(WTYK)-802,803 series transformer pressure type
temperature controller is specially designed to measure and control the
oil temperatures of big oil immersed transformer over 1000KVA and oil
immersed electrical reactor. This series temperature controller has good
outdoor protection performance and is able to properly operate outdoor
for a long time. Three big capacitance temperature switches are installed
inside the instrument and are used for start, switch off and signal alarm
of transformer cooling system respectively. This series controller can be
equipped with digit indicating thermometer to synchronize transformer
oil temperature indication, so that the real time temperature signal is
transmitted into central unit room.

A. Structure and Operation Principle


1. Structure
a. The temperature measuring system of the controller mainly
consists of elastic element, capillary, temperature sensor and
packing medium. The four components constitute enclosed
system ( see Picture 1)
1) Temperature sensor is used to sense the temperature of the
subject measured. It normally contacts the subject directly.
2) Capillary is the channel to transmit the displacement.
3) Elastic element is the part that generate the displacement
4) Packing medium creates and transfers volumetric change
b. Signal control part of the controller
1) Contacting rod is displacement transfer mechanism used to
activate micro switch.
2) Micro switch is the electrical component that output the
switch volume signal.
c. Operating signal output part of the controller
1) Pt100 embedded into temperature sensor or the installation
location of temperature controller head.
2) Digital indicating thermometer (XMT) of the central unit
room, the standard signal output is (4-20 mA), (1-5V).
2. Operation Principle

The temperature controller applies the principle of “thermal


expansion and cold shrinkage”. The enclosed system is fully filled with
temperature sensing medium. When the temperature sensor is put into
the measured material and the material temperature changes, the medium
inside the temperature sensor undergoes volumetric change due to
thermal expansion and cold shrinkage. The volumetric change is
transferred to the elastic element inside the sensor head through the
capillary, so that the displacement occurs on it. The displacement can
directly indicate temperature of the material measured when the
displacement is amplified through amplifying unit. In the mean time, the
displacement is transferred to contacting rod, activating the micro switch
and changing the micro switch status and output signal to drive cooling
system, so as to realized the objective of controlling transformer oil
temperature rise.
In order to meet the continued development of technology and
guarantee the proper operation of transformer, Pt 100 thermal resistance
is embedded in original temperature sensor, so that it can output multi-
group of temperature signal at the same time. These signals can be
transferred as far as to central unit room. The transformer oil
temperature indication is synchronized through digit indicating
thermometer (XMT) to control transformer oil temperature.

Temperature Controller
1. Wiring and switch setting
a. Wiring: first, unscrew four screws (with spanner) on the
instrument lid, open the lid, loose lead cover (see picture 4).
Take out the process cable first, then properly connect the cable
and lead adaptor according to their function (see picture 5). Then
fasten the lead wire cover. Note: the lead wire must be connected
reliably, the locking screw must be tightened to avoid loosening
during transportation. Do not touch internals.
b. Switch setting: before ex-works, the temperature is adjusted into
standard set point. User can adjust it in case of need. Operation
method: use hand to turn the set button directly, so that the
button graduation line overlaps the temperature value that user
desires (see picture 6).
c. Restore the instrument cover after above two adjustments.
Unevenly fasten four screws on the cover.
Note: the highest indication dial ( red ) must be at the
temperature appointed by high temperature indicator (black) (see
picture 7).

2. Temperature sensor installation


Fill transformer oil into installation hole before installation (see
picture 8), then, undo M18x1.5 void bolt (for sensor insert depth
adjustment) and tighten M27x2 installation adaptor. Insert the sensor
to a proper depth and ensure it is fully immersed in the oil. Finally,
fill in packing between void bolt and installation adaptor and fasten
void bolt.
Note: do not turn capillary parts during installation, avoid damage to
the whole measuring system.
3. Capillary tube installation
Place the capillary to a natural state and fasten with wire buckle. Do
not move it. If capillary is too long, the bend radius shall not less
than 75 mm.

F. Operation of XMT Digit Indicating Thermometer


One XMT digit-indicating thermometer is specially equipped to
BWY-802A(TH) and BWY-803A(TH) in order to monitor and control
transformer oil temperature real time in the remote central unit room.
The XMT instrument signal is provided by the embedded Pt 100
resistance in BWY-802A(TH) and BWY-803A(TH). The two must be
connected with PVVP3x1 cables (laid by power supply construction
unit). XMT uses three-wire lead to connect Pt 100, which can effectively
overcome the influence on instrument precision by the length. Normally,
transmission of hundreds of meters is guaranteed.
1. First, fix XMT frame on the instrument panel of central unit
room safely and reliably. See picture 9 for detailed dimension.
2. Connect input signal cable (from BWY-802A(TH) and BWY-
803A(TH) PPVV3X1 upper and lower output signals) and power cable
with XMT grounding terminal firmly. See picture 10 (package
grounding wire diagram), the dotted line is the wiring done by the user
itself. Note: Pt100 wiring must be reliable, loosing shall be prevented
and measuring error shall be avoided.
3. Check wiring is correct, then switch on electrical power and set
upper & lower temperature values. Set the function selection switch on
the front panel to the lower position, turn lower limit temperature set
button until the desired temperature displays on the screen. The lower
limit temperature value setting is over. The upper temperature value can
be set in the same way. After setting, set the selection switch to the
middle position (measuring position). See picture 11.

1. Sleeve M6 bolt into anti-vibration rubber coil and then screw onto
the chassis of transformer.
2. Insert the installation groove at the lower side of the temperature
controller into the anti-vibration rubber coil slot.
3. Install the two M6 bolts at the upper back side of temperature
controller, then use spanner to fasten all the screws.

H. Precaution
1. 1. The inspection procedure (JB/T6302-92) for pressure thermometer
must be followed for the inspection on temperature controller, i.e.,
the temperature sensor must be fully immersed into thermostat. The
instrument head must be installed vertical. It is impossible to judge
strictly according to precision 1.5 in case of ambient temperature air.

2. The controller wiring and installation must be carried out with care
and strictly according to the instruction.
3. Open the name plate lid with cross head spanner. Tighten the four
screws symmetrically and evenly to maintain the even sealing for the
instrument.

4. At the installation, the surplus capillary tube shall be wound into a


circle of min. 150 mm diameter. Fastening shall be done for every
300 mm length on the sleeve capillary ( for example, use fine copper
wire to fasten etc.)

5. For the inspection of digital indicating thermometer, Pt100


graduation figures for standard resistance box can be used as signal
input. The inspection can also be done after connection between
802A, 803A and R1 R2 R3 in the thermostat.

6. At the site installation, attention must be paid that the temperature


sensor must fully immersed into oil sleeve and immersion depth shall
be min. 150 mm.
