1. – availability of project specifications, approved
materials and shop drawings.
– appointed manpower such as Construction Manager, site
engineer, QA/QC engineer, safety engineer, foreman and skilled applicator.

– casted concrete structures must be inspected for


any defects and shall be rectified with approved concrete repair materials.
Remove any cement spot residues, sticking planks/woods and clean the
concrete substrate from dust/sand to allow for proper adhesion of
waterproofing materials.
Sequence of works must be supervised with the engineer and obtained
approval from Consultant engineer prior to commencement of waterproofing
works.
Completed waterproofing works shall obtained approval from Consultant
engineer prior to backfilling works.

1. – a guide frame / guide beam is placed on the ground


to set out the position of the sheet pile wall.
– The piling rig lifts up the first sheet pile and
drives it into the ground, leaving about 1 meter length of the sheet pile above
the ground level.
– The piling rig drives the second pile into the
ground and the second pile interlocks with the first sheet pile.
– Process 2 & 3 repeats till installation of sheet piles is
completed within the length of the guide frame / guide beam.
