Uniform Resource

The URL reveals useful information about an

electronic document, including; name of the
owner, nature of the organisation, and the
document or webpage.
It is easy for anyone to publish on the web, so
you need to be able to analyse the URL of an
internet information source to get an indication
of what to expect in terms of quality before you
go to the trouble of accessing the site.
