DESCRIPTION
HPE 6Gb SAS Switch Virtual SAS Manager (VSM) GUI will not be accessible when HPE BladeSystems OA firmware is
upgraded to version 4.97.

If HPE BladeSystems are using OA firmware version 4.97 and the user attempts to access the HPE 6Gb SAS switch VSM
GUI, the VSM will respond that the user is "Not Authorized" to access the tool.

SCOPE
This issue affects HPE 6Gb SAS switches with HPE BladeSystems OA firmware version 4.97.

RESOLUTION
If the Security fix in HPE BladeSystem OA 4.97 is not required and you wish to continue to use the HPE 6Gb SAS Switch
VSM GUI:

Downgrade the BladeSystems OA Firmware to version 4.96

If the Security fix in HPE BladeSystem OA 4.97 is required:

Manage the HPE 6Gb SAS switch using the VSM CLI

RECEIVE PROACTIVE UPDATES: Receive support alerts (such as Customer Advisories), as well as updates on drivers,
