2024 Summer Semester Registration Schedule and Policy

Summer semester classes will be held online and in-person. The summer semester is from July 1
to August 25. The following is about the summer timetable and course introduction

The registration period starts on Tuesday, April 30. Please read the following details carefully
regarding the summer registration

1. Registration Periods:

2. Registration Policy:

➢ The Priority Registration Period is for current students who have been attending
classes since January 2024. Registration for new students, and returning students prior to
January 2024 will open after the Priority Registration Period for the current students.

➢ Registration can be completed online or in-person. Priority Registration Periods are


staggered based on course grade. Registration is done on a first-come, first-serve basis.

• Parents should check the registration date of the course grade on the
registration schedule before making appointments online.

• In order to improve the efficiency of the registration process, the school will
not process appointment applications that fall outside the registration period of
that course grade.

➢ Families with two or more children (both of them being current students) from
different grades may register for all children during the first Priority Registration Period
of the youngest child.

➢ During the registration period, academic counselling support will be offered by our
school’s trained associates.
• The registration time could take 25 minutes. If you miss the appointment time,
please book another appointment time.

• Our staff will contact parents by phone within the appointment time. Please
keep the phone unblocked. In order to improve the efficiency of the registration,
we will not contact you again if you do not answer within 5 minutes of the
appointment time or show up at the Zoom session.

• A family can only book one appointment per day.

➢ The timetable will be sent through info@meritusacademy.ca. Parents must read the
email and follow the instructions.

➢ The invoice will be sent through payment@meritusacademy.ca. Please be patient while


waiting for your invoice. If you do not receive the payment email within 3 days, please
check your junk mailbox or contact us.

➢ If parents choose to register in-person, please register at our school’s reception area at
the start of the registration period for the appropriate course grade.

➢ Since most of our courses are on the weekends, Meritus Academy will not accept
in-person registration before June 16 on weekends. However, parents can still
register in-person during weekdays before June 16. Thank you for understanding.

➢ Due to a limited consultation availability, please make an appointment on another day


if your desired time slot is fully booked.

➢ Registration period starts on April 30. Our office hours are listed below.

• Monday: Closed

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 12:30 pm - 8:00 pm

• Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm

3. Tuition

To avoid physical contact, all the payments will be accepted online via E-Transfer or PayPal.
