Background

One of the saddest things found in O’ level students, when it comes to the study of electricity is
the failure of application of theoretical learning. Most O’ level students can draw, label and
explain the three pin plug yet scared of replacing a blown fuse or reconnecting the plug.

CALA Description

This CALA consist of three activities

Activity one

You are required to research and write short notes on:

i. Two pin plug

ii. Three pin plug

You are to draw and label a three pin plug

Activity two

You are supposed to design a model of a three pin plug

Activity three

You will be given all the electrical components used to connect a three pin plug and all you need
to do is to connect the plug and test if it is functioning.
