Executive Summary

You are intended to install a solar PV system which will provide clean solar energy to reduce its
energy costs. On grid solar solution is being proposed for rooftop installation. This system is
capable of functioning with multiple sources of energy. The objective is to maximize the
consumption of clean solar energy and reduce energy costs. The system collectively consists of
12kW of high efficiency Monocrystalline solar PV panels. It also includes DC to AC inverter and
other supplemental equipment, while adhering to all engineering, safety and health standards.

Solar system has been designed and engineered keeping in consideration the power consumption
profile of the client. The design is being proposed using optimal utilization of space on the flat
rooftop. The system shall ensure complete compliance to the designed parameters mentioned in
this document. All relevant design and safety standards will be implemented into the design
installation and maintenance of this system. The project will be considered as an Engineering
Procurement and Construction (EPC) project.

The 12kW installed solar PV system will generate 14,000kWh/Year. The environmental impact
will be an annual CO2 emission reduction of 30 metric tons per year. This is equivalent to the CO2
sequestration done by planting 110 trees per year.

The solar PV system price is PKR: 1,963,000/- with a design life of 25 years. The current cost of
electricity per unit has been assumed at PKR 30/kWh which would result in an equity payback of
3.6 years.

proposal.

We strive to provide value added solutions to benefit our clients. The solar PV system that we
provide offsets the utility electricity consumption for our clients, which results in a payback of 3-
4 years. This translates into a rate of return greater than 25% on investment.

The solar PV system installed by EES is Wi-Fi enabled and it is monitored 24/7 during the
measurement and verification period of two weeks or as agreed upon in the contract with the client,
ensuring smooth operation as well as verification of the claimed energy generation by the system.

Our solar PV system comes with a 5-years warranty for the inverter, 10-years replacement
warranty for the solar panels and 25-years performance warranty.

Terms & Conditions

Indicative Price:
PKR [1,963,000], which is based on USD-PKR exchange rate of [285] PKR = 1 USD as at the
date of this quotation.
The impact of any depreciation in PKR with respect to the USD-PKR exchange rate forms part
of the total product price and will be charged to the customer as set out below.

Price Validity:
Price quoted is valid for 02 days from the date of quotation or the date of confirmation/acceptance
of order by customer, whichever is the earlier.

Installation Time:
Within 10 to 15 Days after order confirmation

Payment Terms:
80% advance payment, 20% right after commissioning.
Note: No amount will be hold right after commissioning.
Operation & Maintenance:
2 year free-of-cost O&M services as per prevailing company policy. Thereafter, Customer will be
charged for O&M subject to contract.
Net Metering:
Net Metering time will be 30 working days after commissioning.

Emergent Engineering Services Scope of Work (Standard) – Details:

 Provide all necessary construction drawings/ sketches.

 Designing PV Module mounting structure installation on the roof.
 Provide DC and AC cables for interconnection between the PV panels, inverter and the
closest AC Disconnect/Distributions Box.
 PV Modules installation.
 Conduits and Cable laying for both (AC and DC).
 Start-up & Commissioning.

Client’s Scope
 The client has to arrange separation of identified load according to his requirement at
site (if required).
 If the payment is made through bank transfer, all the taxes (Withholding Tax, Fund
Transfer Tax etc...) will be paid by client.
 Sanctioned load increase and meter name change is up to client end (if required)
 The client must have a Wireless internet at his facility for remote monitoring.
