Printing Instruction

The pattern is designed to be printable. We took

into consideration the standard printer margin for
letter and A4 sized papers.
Seletct “US letter” or “A4” under paper size. Make
sure portrait mode is selected.
Be sure to click “scale: 100%” to ensure that the
page is going to print to scale.

Instruction

1. Print out patterns on heavy card stock. Trace

handle strap pattern into leather. Strip two
leather straps and set aside. Cut out body panel
using pattern dimensions (drawing is 1:3 scale).
2. Mark handle strap center line and 3mm stitch
seam on both sides. Punch stitching holes.
Make sure the spacing matches.
3. Mark strap snap location, bevel the edges.
Fold the handle down the middle and stitch
together. Repeat above steps to complete the
other handle.
4. Punch holes and flatten the stitches using
leathercraft hammer.
5. Mark hole locations on leather straps and punch
holes.
6. Insert rivets and burr over body panel and strap.
Fasten hardware with rivet & burr setter. Cut off
excess post using cutting pliers and knock out
sharp edges with setter.
7. Add handle straps on top edges and fasten with
rivet and burrs.
8. Install closure strap with rivets and burrs on the
back & add snaps to the front using snap setter.
9. Complete.
