 Management Interface  Web Login
 IP: 192.168.0.200  No user and password
 Mask: 255.255.255.0
required; can be
 GW: 192.168.0.1
changed in the Web
 Port Setup GUI
 Port 1 to 48: 10G
 Port 49 to 54: 100G  CLI Login
 Default Flows/Filters  User: root; Password:
fucik1
 None
Ports
40G Ports – Port 49 to 54. Each of
these Ports can be split to 1G or
10G via QSFP break-out cables.
After splitting these interfaces are
named X/1 to X/4.

Connection to EX484-3
 Connect to your CUBRO Packetmaster EX via the
Management Interface

 Enter the IP of the Packetmaster in your web

browser (Factory default: 192.168.0.200)

 After login the Web GUI shows the active
rules – Rule Table
Entering Rules 1
 Press „Add Rule“ tab to enter new rules

priority matches
first
Priority
 The Cubro Packetmaster does not allow to
handle an incoming packet twice. So once a
rule matches the packet is processed and
there is no 2nd chance to access this packet.

 The priority field is a way to stack up rules.

The priority value can be anything between
0 and 65535. A higher value will match
before a lower one.
Entering Rules 2
 Enter values for rules

Select ports to apply rules

Separator e.g. 1,3 Ranges e.g. 2-4

Multiple VLANs and ranges possible

Leave empty if no filter on an

attribute is desired

Choosing protocol type opens the

relevant options for the specific choice

IP masks are entered in CIDR notation (1-32)

Entering Rules 3
Drops matching traffic

Selects output ports for matching packets

Separator e.g. 1,3 Ranges e.g. 2-4

Mirrors traffic from input to output of port

Adds VLAN

Changes VLAN to desired value

Removes VLAN

Adds MPLS label

Modifies IP Destination Address

Modifies MAC Source and Destination Address

Modifies Source and Destination Port Number

Entering Rules 4
 Press Add Rule
 On top of the screen „Rule added successfully“
Port Splitting

Flow configuration after 40G port split
 To make a flow from/to splitted ports
consider the following:
 Split of 40G port #x results in
 Port x/1 to Port x/4
 To use one of these splitted ports it is
required to set the input port or output port
number to the correct splitted port number.
 E.g. if a flow is required from input 49/3 to
output 50/1. The In_port should be set 49/3
while the output has to be set to 50/1.
Current Port Table
 For the current port table refer to
Rule Table 1
 Press „Rule Table“ to display all rules
