*Please find below the general & specific guidelines for nomination:
 Club members who seek to nominate themselves for the post of Representative must
approach the Faculty Co-ordinator in person and sign under the stipulated directives
before the deadline. Time slots: [10:00 am – 10:30 am]
 Selected candidates would officially be referred and identified as ‘Representative(s)’.
There is no provision outlined for being ‘President(s)’.
 Selection for the post of Student-Representative(s) shall be monitored by the Faculty
Co-ordinator.
 Candidates selected should not seek Kalamanch as a platform to promote political
ideologies.
 Kalamanch will have TWO Student Representatives.
 Functioning of the club should be officially documented by the Representatives.
 The post of the Representative is operative for a cumulative period of two semesters
only.
 Only active members of Kalamanch (with one year of measurable theatre experience
in MIC) are considered eligible to apply for the post of Representative, i.e. after
deriving clarifications on all the criteria from the Faculty Co-ordinator.
 Only 2 nd & 3 rd year students of BAMC, 2 nd year students of MAMC & 2 nd & 3 rd year
students of B.Sc. Animation may apply for the post of Representative.
 Students who already hold various posts in the Student’s Council may not apply for
the post of Representative.
 The Faculty Co-ordinator should be regularly updated regarding the functioning of
the club.
 Official report of the meetings held should be properly maintained and submitted.
 All applicants/nominees, please note, the Faculty Co-ordinator is authorised to
reject a nominee if found lacking in any of the stated parameters or if deemed
unsuitable to take charge.
 Post-selections, the elected Representatives are required to strictly abide by the
rules outlined by the Faculty Co-ordinator.
