Dear parents,I take the pleasure and honour in welcoming you
all to the new academic session 2023-24 and bidding adieu to
the last year. The year came with its challenges post the covid
time and the paramount responsibility was for the teachers in
bringing back the social and the psychological bonding that
was missing on the digital platform. The first term was spent
more in strengthening this bond and bringing the children back
to the forefront of learning. To me it was a heartening sight to
see the grounds filled with the laughter of children and the
classrooms vivid with their exuberance. Never again would I
envisage education completely on the online mode though the
hybrid model is here to stay. I once again wish all of you
happy tidings of the new academic session and welcome your
ward to an exciting enriching learning year ahead.
 OUR AIM
DPS Nadergul aims to offer a progressive learning
experience to the students, creating strong individuals.
We strive to challenge each student to grow his/get
ability in academics and sports. It is our
consciousness efforts to provide a caring, secure and
stimulating learning environment in which every child
can develop as an individual: intellectually, socially,
morally, emotionally and physically. We aim to
nurture the curiosity of the budding flowers that they
exhibit about themselves and their world and use their
curiosity to foster positive attitudes to learning, which
will develop the confidence, self esteem in them.

Our Mission is to make our educational establishment an innovative centre of learning where teachers collaborate I
with students in developing pedagogical applications. To adopt a holistic approach to the growth and
development of the students learning and lay the foundation for the continual pursuit of knowledge and skills, O
respect for learning and a desire to be a lifelong learner.

 The ‘traditional classroom’ where students sit quietly and attentively in their
seats, while the teacher pours vast amounts of wisdom and knowledge into their
sponge like brains is over. We at DPS Nadergul always believed and practised
‘student driven ‘ and ‘student centered’ classrooms. Here are the few snippets.
English
Learning is not limited to the doors of the
classroom. Students learn more by seeing
and doing. They not only enjoy but
reflexively imbibe the essence of each activity
and hone different life skills, while having
fun. Keeping these objectives in mind,
children were fruitfully engaged in the year-
long activities.
 Mathemati
cs

Mathematics requires experiential learning where students are involved in

their own understanding of mathematical concepts and practices. Through
this type of learning students can identify problems, use constructive
reasoning in real life. We aim at integrating art, sports and other
disciplines to increase student’s ability to analyse and solve problems and
helps abstracting visual information by using numbers.
 Science
Teaching does not need to be limited to textbooks and blackboards. With our
fun Science activities for students, learning at school became an interesting and
enjoyable exercise through experiential learning which enhanced the learner’s
knowledge with art and music integration.

DPS Nadergul, organised Literary Week
to inspire students understanding and love
for literature. To make the experience
attractive and enriching and enjoyable for
the new generation, a series of activities
including literary games, quizzes,
interactive sessions with book authors were
organised along with storytelling session
using puppetry skills.
DPS Nadergul has an extra
ordinary aspect of celebration of
weeks which is observed with a great
zeal and excitement.
The week celebration brings a drastic
change in the students as they
portray the qualities of leadership,
teamwork, cooperation, confidence,
hard work and social spirit. We at
DPS Nadergul are always on the
move to celebrate.
Literary
week
 With an aim to create an interactive and interesting learning of

Math week
Mathematics, DPS Nadergul organised ‘Math Week’. School was
decorated with interesting facts like formulae, importance of
mathematical symbols . The event was successful in intriguing the
students about the exciting world, that is Mathematics.

Science Week is a fruit of this passion revelled through a weeklong celebration

of Science and Technology culminating into a grand melee of experiential
learning. We at DPS Nadergul believe that the true essence of learning is when
the philosophy seamlessly integrates with the lives of the learner, powering Science
their interpretation of everything that goes around them by constantly relating
to their environment. week
Weekends are days every student really looks forward to. But sometimes, you just do not know what to
do these days. And it is not worth just wasting your weekend unless that is your sole intention.
To avoid this confusion and make our student’s weekend more fruitful and entertaining, DPS Nadergul
has come up with this unique idea ‘Fun Friday Froaster’ which emphasizes on artistic activities such as
painting and music, social interactions, imagination, critical thinking, problem-solving and much more.
 Our morning
assembly helps the
students to gather a
lot of energy to do
well and to do good.
It also focuses on
maintaining and
nurturing a positive
healthy school
culture and
discipline
 The Joy of Giving Week is
an event that is observed
every year at DPS
Nadergul with a lot of
enthusiasm, reflecting the
spirit of empathy and
generosity of the students,
teachers and parents alike.
The aim of this celebration to
provide students an
opportunity to reach out to
less privileged people with
our acts and words of
kindness.

Choti Se Kushiya- Leaves no One
Kids will remember an important day or festival only if they are told about what the
occasion signifies. For a child, celebrating events and festivals in school has become an
integral part of growing, learning new activities, and building a strong cultural belief.
Celebrations bring the students closer to each other’s cultural beliefs and traditions to develop
respect and understanding for each other’s customs and traditions.
Our sincere gratitude to all the parents and well-wishers for your rock-solid support system and
encouragement. Without your support children would have not been able to achieve excellence. We value you
and every moment that you stay in this temple of learning, and we look forward for the same support and
trust as we move ahead to exciting times.
