Schloss Esterhazy ( also known as Chateau Esterhazy or Chateau Galanta ) , is a Neo-Gothic
chateau in Galanta , Southwestern Slovak built in 1633 by the Hungarian stately family
Esterhaz .Nowadays the dilapidated chateau is being reconstructed by volunteers from the
town sponsored by the surrogate of mayor .== account == The syndicate `` Esterhazy '' had a
major character in the history of the town .They built several building .The most important
1 was the chateau , originally designed as a Renascence fortress-like residence , from the
year 1633 .The building was designed by the comrade Daniel and Pavol Esterhazy .mental
synthesis started in 1633 , during the firstly large economic expansion of the
family .Another member of the fellowship Imrich , a bishop from Nitra , had it reconstructed
in baroqueness elan in 1736 .Only marble fireplaces have been preserved from this
Reconstruction Period It was given its portray neo-Gothic visual aspect inspired by English
Gothic in 1861.The latest and most root modernisation was in 1861 based on quixotic
English people Gothic panache == show == The chateau is a massive building with a U-
shaped primer coat program .The slope wings create a closed courtyard .The two storeyed
entree wing used to be residential .There is a ceremonial stairway leading into the main
suite on the first storey .The side wings used to personify farm house .=== Exterior === The
original U-shaped ground plan has been partially preserved until today .The right wing has
been separated from the main one and completely reconstructed .==== The position flank
==== Both of the slope wings have escalated frontage , each level is decorated with profiled
quatrafoil and a little roof over it .The pattern of the facade copies the frame of a bicycle seat
roof , whilst it is marvellous and makes the wings appear more monumental than they
actually are .It may appear that the incline wings were not jointed to the master wing in the
get-go home since the profilation of the frontage is repeated on the former incline of the
side wings facing the independent wing just a pair of cadence far from it .Since the side
annex were originally used as stable there are only three small front Windows in a row ,
centrally placed on the rampart .All the window are exactly alike ; with a pointed archway
on the top and no extra decoration .==== The main backstage ==== The chief annex is now
being reconstructed since it was in almost fatal consideration .The wing is a two storeyed
hall with one dominating feature – a four storied pillar on the west side .The hale wing
escalates from the bottom to the crown .The plinth is simple stone work , just as the first
floor .The windows have orthogonal Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe , but
apparently used to have a pointed electric arc on the tip .The cornice dividing the starting
time and the irregular storey is also bumpkinly and kid .While on the minute storey , the
window are decorated with a unsubdivided edicule without any tympanon .The
windowpane are united by another plain cornice .The chateau does not hold a whole
entablature , only the cornice and an arc-shaped frieze with added screen traffic circle
windowpane .The main ingress used to be from the west side of the independent annex .It
appears like a one percentage triumphal arch connected to the wing .==== The tower ====
The tower is accented by four axially symmetrical stem Windows reminding four smaller
tugboat on the top .The position of windowpane on the tower is obscure .They have the
same shape ( narrow with a repoint arc on the whirligig ) but they differ in size of it and a
number in each storey .The most decorated unity are on the 2nd level , pointing to the
grandness of the floor .These windows slightlyresemble a exultant electric arc .There are
three equally long windows with two tower dividing them .In the tail there is a low screen
noggin supported by two cycle corbels .A odd feature of the tower are small troll windows
above the third trading floor , they probably represent a reference to the decor of the
frieze .The tracery in the windows is very childlike ( round ) and made of stone .The same is
repeated on the Occident side in the center persona of the main wing .=== Interior ===
Many historical rooms have not been entirely preserved , only some of the details ,
especially the bank vault .The suite differ in type of curvet .Usually , they are roast vaults
supported by funnel-like corbe s. An attention-getting component is the handrail of the
main staircase .It is crafted in Gothic style and probably used to be amber plated .== The
chateau nowadays ( 2019 ) == The construction is in a bad term caused by poor care of the
town council during communism and after the Velvet revolution .In 2012 the reconstruction
began , due to sake of one of the Galanta 's deputy and volunteers , which are organised by
the voluntary affiliation Neogotický kaštieľ fivesome Galante ( Neo-Gothic chateau in
Galanta ) .
