BASKETBALL 3 POINT- SHOOT OUT COMPETITION MECHANICS

ROUND 1

 The Competition will be held on the time that will

be announced later by PCHGEA;
 Each team will be represented by 3 players in every
category the same as the Basketball event;
 Each player will shoot 15 balls (5 balls from the
left flank, 5 balls from the center and 5 balls from
the right flank ) in one (1) minute for 30 years old
and under as well as the 31 -39 years old. However,
the tough 40 will be given 1 and half minutes or 90
seconds;
 Ball that goes in within the time frame is counted
as 1 point, except the marked money ball that is
last basketball to be fired or shoot will be counted
as 2 points;
 The order of battle will be: all designated player
number 1 of all teams will shoot first followed by
players 2 and 3 of each team in accordance with
their assigned team number;
 Scores of all players of the team will be
consolidated in this round.

ROUND 2

 The process is almost the same, except that only 3

balls will be used in each rack in 3 flanks (2
regular balls and 1 money ball);
 Time will be 45 seconds for 30 years old and under
as well as the 31-39 years old. However, the tough
40 will be given 1 minute;
 Scores in this round will be added to the 1 st
round in order to determine the team standing;
 Top 2 teams will slug it out in the championship
round;
 The rank of 2 remaining teams will be determined
according to their scores.
CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND

 Back to Zero (scores in the previous rounds

will be disregarded);
 Same rules in Round 1 will be applied;
 Scores of all players of the team will be
consolidated to determine the winner or
Champion Team;
 Losing Team will be declared 1st Runner Up.
