OVERVIEW

New beginnings usually precede endings. The most notable development in Barangay Mayapa in
2024 will be the ongoing execution of policies, programs, and activities that advance the rights
of children. Every kid in our society needs a comprehensive and healthy chance for growth and
development, in our opinion.
As a child-friendly community, Barangay Mayapa ensures that every kid has access to the four
basic pillars: the right to participation, the right to development, the right to survival, and the
right to protection. In addition, our barangay makes sure that every child's requirements are met.
Nonetheless, a multitude of data points to factors and obstacles that underlie the partial

profile.
INTRODUCTION

The barangay is the primary unit of government in every community, functioning as the first line
of defense in providing for the needs of its citizens and delivering services. It is essential to have
a thorough grasp of the barangay's current situation in order to carry out its duties. A Barangay
Situational Analysis—a methodical evaluation that explores multiple facets of the barangay's
social, economic, environmental, and political landscape—is the means by which this
comprehension is attained. For our local leaders and legislators, this research is an essential tool
that helps them prioritize projects, distribute money effectively, and make well-informed
decisions. Through an analysis of the barangay's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and
threats, stakeholders can devise focused approaches aimed at augmenting community
development, cultivating inclusivity, and advancing sustainable advancement.

The situational analysis is specifically intended to assist in the formulation of plans, programs,
and policies that safeguard, respect, and uphold the rights of children.

Furthermore, the state of the youngsters (those under the age of eighteen) is the main focus of
this report. According to the Sangguniang Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan, this report is
crucial for determining the state of the children in our community today and meeting their needs.
