Improvement of Fuel Injection Pump

HiMSEN Engine H25/33

Dear Sirs,

As we had informed you the development of fuel injection pump on H25/33 type by
our Service Letter K190-HiMSEN-13, we would summarize the improvement as
follow.

1. Plunger ass’y have been changed as Fig. 1

3. Double back-up ring on barrel
To avoid the leakage of fuel oil, back-up rings are positioned on both sides of O-ring
and the material of O-ring is changed into better resistance for high temperature. And
in order to be applied to double back-up ring, the O-ring grooves of barrel are
enlarged to 6.1mm.

So, HHI would like to recommend the updated parts (Plunger ass’y with double back-up
ring) for spare parts hereafter.
