Five different books are to be arranged on a bookshelf. There are five different
spaces where the books can be placed within the same level.
 The number of different ways the books can be arranged is 5!=120 ways.

Question 4:
Let X be the number of smartphone-dependent people in a sample of 10
American young adults.

 A sample of 10 America young adults is selected  n=10


 Each adult is classified into either smartphone-dependent or not
smartphone-dependent person. Two of these categories are mutually
exclusive and collectively exhaustive.
 The probability percent of young adults who own a smartphone are
“smartphone-dependent is 17%. The value of any person is independent of
the value of any other person.
