CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

This chapter presents the conclusions and recommendation which were formulated by

the researcher’s based from the finding of the study.

Conclusions

Based from the findings of the study, the researcher concluded that the violence against

women in Pinukpuk has a record/reported VAW cases from the different barangay of Pinukpuk.

Which barangay Mapaco gained the most recorded/reported VAW cases. The most common in

the reported cases of VAW is physical violence and the least is economic violence which are

committed by their intimate partners.

All forms of violence mentioned in R.A 9262, including physical, sexual, psychological,

and economic violence, were committed and reported/recorded, which physical violence being

the most committed form of violence recorded/reported. Physical violence was the highest

because they only force to report when their husband lay a hand and their act of delivering a

blow with the foot to their intimate partners.

Recommendations

Based from the findings of the survey. The researchers recommend the following:

1. The Barangay may enhance their information dissemination program to empowered women

on their rights as mandated by Law.

2. DSWD and PNP may need to empower victim-survivors that they may not hesitate to report

violence committed against them by their intimate partners must be initiated.

3. The local government unit may opt to sustain its efforts in increasing awareness of the

community on Violence Against Women (VAW) and women’s rights
