Pre-reserved Seats
You can pre-reserve seats up to 11 months before the flight departs. You may also issue boarding passes
within 30 days before the flight departs.
Note Many airlines require that passengers check in at least 15 - 30 minutes before departure to retain the
pre-reserved seat. Refer to carrier's policy on pre-reserved seats.
You can pre-reserve a seat in a specific zone and location for a single segment.

The response would be the pre-reserved seat number, carrier, flight, class, date, city pair, zone, and passenger
name.
When the itinerary is redisplayed, the HRS flag appears at the end of the segment. This indicates "holds
reserved seat".
The system assumes you're reserving non-smoking seats. You can also request a non-smoking window. Notice
the absence of the N for non-smoking.

If the seats are available, the system displays the seat number and flight information. If the seat is unavailable
for any of the flights, the system displays a prompt message:

The system assigns the seats to the names in descending order because name association is not used. In other
words, the first three seats requested are assigned to the first three passengers. The last seat is assigned to the
last passenger in the name field.
You can request a pre-reserved seat for a specific name in the name field of a PNR.

system also adds an OSI (or Other Service Information) to each PNR and cross-references the companion

Once you display the pre-reserved seat data, there are two sets of seats: one for the originating leg of the
flight, and one for the continuing leg of the flight.
Note You can input either entry in any order, but remember, you must include the C in the entry for the first
leg of the flight.
There are Special Service Requests (SSRs) that prevent seat assignments in emergency exit rows. The
following SSRs are inhibited from exit row seating.
Your carrier may prohibit some or all of the SSRs listed:

the criteria to sit there.
