Well, making it look credible; a lot of it was in the visuals, stripping things away,' and he
emphasized the discipline of simplicity and taking away, taking away, taking away. And he
called it *emotionally intelligent design*

6. Make it Respect our User’s Attention

this comes down to *notifications* and allowing *customization of notifications and

control*

7. Make it Accessible

It's very important that your mobile experience is accessible, that it meets WCAG
guidelines – the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – and that it provides *good
responsive experience* – that's part of accessibility guidelines; it's *easily scannable*, the
*color contrast*

8. Make it Inclusive

An example here from Down Dog – it's a fitness yoga app; it can attend, you know,

for beginners, for users that are pregnant, after having a baby, older adults.

1.6. Goals of Mobile UX

1. Make it Easy to Use. Avoid interface friction and interface friction is anytime a user hits
a bump in the app.

It breaks their flow or the rhythm that they have with the device they're interacting with or
your app or mobile content experience. And an example of friction I'm thinking about is I
have a supermarket app, and it's for my points – the supermarket gives me points. And the
app requires me to log in every time I use the app.

2. Make it Easy to Learn

If your user hasn’t used your app in a while, you want them to be able to remember how to
navigate through the experience.

3. Make it Easy to Comprehend

Comprehension has a lot to do with UX writing, the written content in your mobile
experience. Badges, notifications, labels and any microcopy need to be understandable
and unambiguous

4. Make it Sociable
