The pie chart illustrates the main factors contributing to the productivity

decrease in agricultural land. Meanwhile, the table shows their impact on three
specific continents, namely North America, Europe, and Oceania, in the 1990s.
It is noticeable that overgrazing has the most influence on land degradation
worldwide and in the three regions combined.

As is shown in the pie chart, overgrazing holds the highest percentage,

representing more than a third of the total. Deforestation took second place,
with a precise number of 30%. Overcultivation came next, with just 2% lower
than the runner-up. Lastly, the other causes had the lowest impact, with only
less than a tenth of the chart.

In the table, it can be clearly seen that Europe had the most land degraded, at
23%. Deforestation has the most impact, accounting for 9.8% of the
degradation. Oceania had overgrazing as the main factor, with an
overwhelming 11.3% of the 13%. North America had only 5%, with
overcultivation as the highest contributor at 3.3%.
