Leakage rates
The damper has been designed
generally in accordance with the latest
BNG/BNFL and AWE specifications
NF0155/1 and /DSD01/A/S/2051/001.

The damper is available to meet the


requirements BNFL/BNG ductwork
specification NF0154/ 3 (previously
AESS6008).

Nuclear Products
The IDX has been successfully tested
at the BSRIA laboratories, Bracknell,
Berkshire, United Kingdom, to meet the
continual ever changing demands of
the nuclear industry.

The test was carried under stringent


conditions with the damper being
subjected to pressure in excess of
7kPa (7000Pa) and achieving 35l/s/m².
(BSRIA report 50937/1 July 2007).

In order to achieve this figure a


unique parallel blade design has been
developed and in line with NF0155 and
DSD01/A/2051/001 respectively.
