1. SPECIFICATIONS
Primary Pressure: 300 PSI maximum
Adjusted Pressure: 160 PSI maximum
Temperature: 170 degrees F (79 degrees C) maximum
Flow Capacity: 200 SCFM

2. TROUBLE SHOOTING
For trouble-free operation proper lubrication of the regulator is essential. When any
of the following symptoms occur, lubricate with recommended lubricant according to
the Lubrication Diagram

A. Excessive relief venting.

B. Inability to attain high secondary pressure.
C. Erratic secondary pressures.
D. Excessive hysteresis (a retardation of desired effect: in this case because of
lack of lubrication).

Remove the bottom plug and clean the valve assembly and valve seat. Lubricate
the three ‘o’ rings in the valve assembly as marked * in Lubrication Diagram with
Dow Corning 55. If this is not available use a heavy grease such as Parker ‘O’ ring
Lube, Lubriplate or Molykote. However, these lubricants "wash out" much sooner. If
this procedure does not solve symptomatic problems, relubricate remaining seals.
NOTE:- Do not use oil as a lubricant.

3. RECALIBRATION

1. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CALIBRATE UNTIL ALL SEVEN O-RINGS HAVE

BEEN PROPERLY LUBRICATED.

2. To recalibrate regulator:
A. Install regulator on air line with at least 110 psig (7.5 bar) air pressure at the
inlet port.
B. Install an air pressure gauge to either gauge port.
C. Remove lock knob from centre of dial face.
D. Turn dial indicator to 100 psig (7 bar) setting.
E. Check the gauge for 100 psig (7 bar) reading. If gauge reading is not 100
psig (7 bar), adjust screw "A" until gauge reads 100 psig ( 7 bar). Adjust
screw "A" by holding dial indicator on 100 psig (7 bar) setting and, with
screwdriver, adjust screw "A". If more than one-half turn on screw "A" is
required to adjust to 100 psig (7 bar), see "G" below.
F. To check calibration adjustment: When dial and gauge readings are the same
(100 psig +/- 2 psig; 7 bar +/- 0.15 bar),turn dial indicator to 20 psig (1.5
bar). Unit is calibrated when reading is 20 psig +/- 5 psig (1.5 bar +/- 0.35
bar). (The +/- 2 psig and +/- 5 psig are accepted tolerances of most
commonly used gauges).
G. DO NOT adjust screw "A" more than one-half turn when calibrating unit. If
unit has been properly lubricated and more than one-half turn is required to
calibrate it, additional problems with unit are involved and unit should be
replaced.

4. REPAIR KIT
A repair kit is available; Elmar Part L-660390.
