Course description

― A comprehensive understanding of the transition from Air


Traffic Management (ATM) and Communications,
Navigation, and Surveillance (CNS) to the System Wide
Information Management (SWIM) paradigm.
― Participants will gain a solid foundation in ICAO's SWIM
concept and its practical applications.
― The course delves into SWIM standards, infrastructure,
governance, and implementation, emphasizing the efficient
exchange of ATM-related data.

Course description

― Comprehension of SWIM's interconnected components. Topics


covered include Aeronautical Information Management (AIM), Air
Traffic Flow Management, capacity demand (ATFCM), airport
operations, Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM),
environmental (ENV) considerations, flight data management
(FD), surveillance (SUR) practices, weather data integration
(WX), and staying current with the latest SWIM advancements.
― Participants will leverage this knowledge to strategically plan and
execute SWIM initiatives.

― For professionals involved in Aeronautical Information


Management (AIM), Air Traffic Services (ATS), airline (AO)
and airport operations (AD), and Air Navigation Service
Providers (ANSP).
― It is designed for individuals with an intermediate to
advanced skill level.
