Materials:
Yarn: light weight (3) yarn suitable for amigurumi and a size 2mm crochet hook in:
• Broken white: 80-95m/ 90-105yd

• Dark brown: 15-20m/ 15-25yd
• Red: 30-40m/ 35-45yd
• Skin color: 30-40m/ 35-45yd
• White: 35-45m/ 40-50yd
Crochet hook: size 2mm
Stuffing – tapestry needle – scissors – pencil – stitch
markers – glue – glue gun – sewing pins
White sewing thread and needle
Cardboard: 3mm thick
Beads wire: 2mm diameter – white
Plastic rhinestone: white – 10mm diameter – 2 pcs

The color of yarn you are to use for your row is mentioned at the end of the
row. When nothing is mentioned, use the same color as the previous row.
Work only in the front or back loops when this is mentioned. When nothing is
mentioned, work in both loops.
The “ch1” in “ch1 and turn” does NOT count as a stitch. The same goes for the
“ch2” in “ch2 and turn”
Abbreviations:
• Ch(s): chain(s)
• Sl st: slip stitch
• Sc: single crochet
• Hdc: half double crochet
• Dc: double crochet
• Inc: increase = make 2 single crochet in the same stitch
• Dec: decrease = single crochet 2 stitches together
• Hdc inc: half double crochet increase = make 2 half double crochet in the same stitch
Important information:
Examples:
*2sc, inc, 2sc* repeat till end = 2sc, inc, 2sc, 2sc, inc, 2sc, 2sc, inc, 2sc, …
*3sc, inc* repeat till end = 3sc, inc, 3sc, inc, 3sc, inc, …

Mother’s head and body:
Row 1: 6sc in a magic ring with skin color
Row 2: inc in every stitch (12)
Row 3: *1sc, inc* repeat till the end (18)
Row 4: *1sc, inc, 1sc* repeat till the end (24)
Row 6-11: 1sc in every stitch (30)
Row 12: *3sc, dec* repeat till the end (24)
Row 13: 1sc in every stitch (24)
Row 14: *1sc, dec, 1sc* repeat till the end (18)
• Stuff now
Row 16: dec 6 times (6)

Row 22: 4sc, dec twice, 8sc, dec twice, 4sc (20)
• Mark the decrease stitches. Those are the shoulders

Row 23: 1sc in every back loop (20) with white
Row 32: in front loops only: *2sc, inc, 2sc* repeat till the end (24)
• Make 1 sl st in the first stitch

• Yarn off
• Stuff the doll
• Make the bottom of the doll now:
Bottom:
Row 1: 6sc in a magic ring with white

• Yarn off but leave a long tail
• Sew the last row of the bottom piece to row 40 of the doll
and add more stuffing in this is necessary.

Arms (make 2):
***I did NOT stuff the arms
Row 1: 8sc in a magic ring with skin color (that 8sc is right, it’s not a typo)
Row 13: 6sc, dec (7)
Row 14: 5sc, dec (6)
• Yarn off but leave a tail

• Make the second arm the same way
• Attach the arms to the shoulders
Collar:
Row 1: ch26 with white
Row 2: start in the second ch from the hook: *2sc, inc, 2sc* repeat till the end, ch1 and turn

Row 3: *5sc, inc* repeat till the end, ch1 and turn (35)
Row 4-5: 1sc in every stitch, ch1 and turn (35)
Row 6: *5dc in the third stitch, 1sl st in the 5th stitch* repeat till the end

• Attach the collar according to the pictures on the next page
• Sew beads wire along the collar edge (highlighted with orange in the 4th picture)

Hair:
Row 1: 6sc in a magic ring with dark brown Row 4: *1sc, inc, 1sc* repeat till the end

• Glue or sew the hair on the head but do not cut the yarn end
• Cut 25 dark brown strands of 20cm/7.8” long
• Use the yarn end to sew the hair strands per 5 on the head in front of the hair piece
• I did not style the hair till the very end of the pattern. You can do it now but then you
risk getting the hair all messed up again before you’re done

Daughter:
Head and body:
Row 10: *1sc, dec, 1sc* repeat till the end (18)
• Stuff now
Row 16: inc in every back loop (12) with white
Row 24: in front loops only: *1sc, inc, 1sc* repeat till the end (24)

• Yarn off
• Stuff the doll
• Make the bottom of the doll now:
Bottom:
Row 1: 6sc in a magic ring with white

• Sew the last row of the bottom piece to row 31 of the doll and add more stuffing if this
is necessary
Arms (make 2):

***I did NOT stuff the arms
• Yarn off but leave a tail

• Use that tail to sew the opening in row 15 closed
• Make the second arm the same way
• Sew the arms in place

Collar:
• ch18 with white

• Attach this chain to the front loops of row 15
(highlighted with orange in this picture:)
Hair:
Row 1: 6sc in a magic ring with dark brown
• Yarn off but leave a very long tail

• Pictures of the following steps are below the last step and on the next page
• Glue or sew the hair on the head
• Wrap the very long tail of the hair around the head in front of the hair piece ( )and
sew in place center front, center back and in the middle on both sides of the head
(highlighted with orange in picture 6)

Braid:
• Cut 6 dark brown strands of 15cm/6” long

• Use them to make a braid according to the pictures below
• Attach the braid to the back of head

Platform part A:
Row 1: 3sc in a magic ring, ch1 and turn with broken white (that 3sc in right and not a typo)
• Work back and forth now, NOT in continuous rows

next page. I made a pink rose as an example instead of
a red one so that it would be more clearly what you
need to do.
• Roll up each rose and secure the roll with a couple of stitches
on the bottom of the roll ( )
• Glue the roses in place
• Glue a plastic rhinestone on the hair of the daughter ( ) and 1 on the magic ring of the
B part of the frame ( )
• Sew beads wire along the edge of the frame ( ) ( highlighted with orange in the last picture)
