Harold is pointing out that if his mom had never wished for the idol, her dad would have won the
television anyway. He says that it was a coincidence that she ever heard of the idol, since her dad had
already won it before she even knew about it.

woman says these words to the man in scene 9 when the man reveals himself and she know the real
reason why he come to her. The woman says that she won't force the man to do anything, but she just
wants to be able to escape and be with a human voice. She believes that being alone in this house has
made her loneliness feel etched into the walls. If the man kills her, she wants him to do it quickly so that
she doesn't have to spend eternity alone.

(3) These lines are taken from the play,” The Sliver Idol” written by James R. Waugh. Jack says these
word to Mrs. Pryde in scene 3 after the second wish of the Mrs.Pryde was granted. The way of the
wishes grant by the silver idol is something that most people can easily be done. It cannot be came the
way what you expected like something more difficult, something that only a miracle can accomplish.
That’s why jack told Mrs. Pyrde that’s not the case.

words to Mrs. Pryde and Harold when they plan to use the silver idol that is laid on the table after Jack
and Betty leave from the house. Mr Pyride doesn't want his wife and the son to use the silver idol
because they don’t understand the possibility dangerous after wishing from the silver idol. That’s why
he warns them that idol as a dynamite and it could be dangerous.

to Betty in scene 3 after fulfilling the third wish of Mrs. Pryde from the voice of the radio. Jack answers
Betty questions that you need to wish cautiously from the silver idol. The reason is that you may be fun
when you start off the wishing. However, before you know the dangerous of that wishing, the way of
from that wish is becoming more serious.
