The conference welcomes both men and women comprising of undergraduate students,
academicians, scholars, professionals etc. to contribute their academic research and present the
same before the esteemed panel of adjudicators comprising of academicians, lawyers, industry
expert, etc. that will shed light on these critical issues. Further, through this conference, we are
also convening voices from diverse sectors to engage in a vivid and comprehensive discourse
on the progress, challenges, and the road ahead for women in India.
This conference is pertinent to address some critical issues as to the gender equality in India,
as despite the progress made in empowering women, there is a critical need for more robust
policies and laws in the field of entrepreneurship, finance, sports, politics, education,
technology, entertainment, and journalism, to ensure they receive the opportunities and
protections they deserve.

We are at the advanced stages of procuring affiliation from the National Human Rights
Commission of India, the National Commission for Women and the Department of
Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry to make
this conference a landmark conference.

K. PANEL DISCUSSION
1. HMJ (Retd.) Indira Banerjee: Being the 8th female judge in the history of the Hon'ble
Supreme Court of India, her ladyship presently serves as an Arbitrator, adjudicating high-
stake arbitrations, both domestically & internationally. Prior to serving the Hon’ble Apex
Court, her Ladyship was the 2nd woman to hold the position of a Chief Justice of the
Hon’ble Madras High Court.
2. Dr. Pam Rajput: A Padma Shree recipient & a renowned academician & activist known
for her work on gender development issues globally. She is also the Co-author of “Women
in State Politics in India: Missing in the Corridors of Power” & has headed the Pam Rajput
Committee formed with the objective of evaluating the status of women from 1989 to
2012 by the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India.
4. Ms. Jasmine Lulla: An entrepreneur and a former participant at the Master Chef India.
Her pursuit of excellence has earned her numerous laurels and awards, including the
prestigious titles of "Best Bakery in Central India" and "Best Women Entrepreneur".
5. Ms. Radhika Dubey: A former partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, currently serving
as the Central Government Standing Counsel before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court is
known for her able legal strategies & industry-oriented dispute resolution. She is
empaneled as an arbitrator with the Delhi International Arbitration Centre and as a trained
mediator with the Supreme Court Mediation Centre.
7. Ms. Diwa Shah: A Director & Writer, known for making feature films has won the
Kutxabank New Director’s Award at San Sebastian Film Festival, Spain, a first for an
Indian Film maker & Silver Gateway Award for ‘Bahadur- The Brave’. She is also known
for the feature film Samosa & Sons.
Registration fee for attending Panel Discussion: INR 1500/- (each attendee). The attendees
shall be provided Morning Tea & Cookies, Lunch & High Tea on 16th of June, 2024.
