IN-HOUSE STATE OF THE ART R&D CAPABILITY
MayAir Testing Centre is a CNAS-accredited test center in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 General
Requirements for Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories. The testing center is well- equipped
with a full range of testing facilities to carry out comprehensive FFU performance tests.
MayAir in-house R&D team utilises Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) for its product development to
ensure optimized airflow within FFU housing. With the technology in place, MayAir FFUs able to deliver
maximum output of air with minimal static losses and noise generation, where the average airflow velocity

MICROELECTRONICS CLEANROOM
MayAir's Fan Filter Unit (FFU) is specially designed for cleanrooms in
the microelectronics industry. The FFU housing can be customized with
materials like galvalume, stainless steel or aluminum, based on the client's
preferences. In microelectronic cleanrooms, MayAir offers several FFU
models, including Bottom-Load, Top-Load, and the Slim Type/ Low Profile
FFU and Equipment Filter Unit, EFU.
MayAir FFUs present optimal solutions for enhancing air quality in the
most demanding cleanroom environments in accordance to the cleanroom
class as per ISO 14644 and/ or Federal Standard FS 209E.

This system utilizes IP addresses and frequency bands

MayAir also provides optional Open Protocol Modbus communication (TCP Modbus or Modbus-RTU) for third party BMS to perform full control and monitoring
of MayAir FFU directly without MayAir FLONET control system. In this case, the Flonet software is not applicable, and the monitoring and control software will
be done by the third party. All FFU parameters can be controlled and monitored will be shown within this configuration system.

OPTIONAL CONTROL SYSTEM TOUCH SCREEN PANEL –
FOR SMALLER SCALE CLEANROOM
In addition to Flonet, MayAir offers optional features for clients, particularly
those with small-scale cleanrooms. The Touchscreen Control Panel is ideal Group 1
for small cleanroom setups, capable of controlling up to 4 groups of FFUs,
totalling 132 units. The FFU layout can be programmed into an HMI for real- FFU 1 FFU 2 FFU 3 FFU 31
time location monitoring. With this standalone control system, clients can
seamlessly integrate it into their existing setup without any additional work.
It's a fast and convenient solution for cleanroom construction.

A handheld controller is made available for ease of control of an individual FFU for

especially during FFU commissioning work.
