(AC-S09) Week 09 - Task: Assignment - How Is Your Life On Campus?
TEACHER:
Student B: It's very exciting, actually! We have many things to do. What about yours?
Student A: Not bad. But I'm curious, what subjects are you studying?
Student B: Well, I'm majoring in Economics, so I have a lot of courses related to that.
Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, whatever.
Student B: Definitely! Professor Roger is amazing. He teaches Microeconomics and makes even the
most complex concepts seem simple.
Student A: That's great to hear. Are there many extracurricular activities at your university?
Student B: Oh, absolutely! We have clubs for almost everything you can think of, from debate clubs
to sports teams. In fact, I'm part of the soccer team.
Student A: I can imagine. What do you usually do in your free time besides football?
Student B: Well, I enjoy exploring the city with friends. There are tons of interesting cafes and
restaurants around campus.
Student A: It sounds like you're making the most of your time there. I'm curious, what are the career
opportunities like at your university?
Student B: They're pretty good. The same university offers you scholarships and various jobs for us.
Student A: That's amazing. I wish we had more of those opportunities here. Do you feel like you
have a lot of support from your teachers?
Student B: Definitely. They are always available during office hours and truly care about our
success.
Student A: That's really great to hear. Thanks for sharing about your life on campus. It sounds like
you're having an amazing experience.
Student B: No problem! But I'm curious about your university. What is it like over there? What are
you studying?
Student A: Well, I'm majoring in computer science, so I have a lot of technical courses.
Student A: Professor Carlos is amazing. He teaches software engineering and his lectures are always
engaging and interactive.
Student B: That's amazing. Are there many extracurricular activities at your university?
Student A: Yes, there are enough. We have clubs for various interests, such as coding, robotics, and
even a hiking club. I'm actually part of the coding club.
Student A: We have them several times a semester. They are intense but very fun.
Student B: I imagine. What do you usually do in your free time besides coding?
Student A: Well, I enjoy playing the guitar and exploring the outdoors. There are some beautiful
hiking trails near campus.
Student B: It seems like you have a good balance between academics and leisure. What are the
career prospects like for computer science graduates at your university?
Student A: They are quite promising. There are many tech companies that recruit on campus.
Student B: That's great to hear. Do you feel like you have a lot of support from your teachers?
Student B: That's really reassuring. Thank you for sharing about your campus life, I'm glad you're
doing well.
