Joints allow movement and flexibility of the body

Different joints help the movement of bones in different ways

A joint is a place where two or more bones are joined together

The bones connect or meet at the joints

The joints at the neck makes turning and rotation of the head possible

The joints at the shoulder bones, hand bones and backbone allow movement of
the upper body
The joints at the shoulder bones allow the arms to move back and forth, to the
side or making rotations
