As we continue to receive your feedback and suggestions, we have made some adjustments to
make the modules simpler and easier to navigate. Each module now indicates the asynchronous
activities before and after a synchronous session. The modules have been simplified so that you
can easily derive what needs to be prepared for the coming week.

Today, we shall be uploading the modules in the pupils’ LMS. They will only need to work on
the Asynchronous Activities BEFORE Synchronous Session 1 of each subject. There is no need
to finish the entire module in one sitting. From thereon, the teachers will guide the pupils on
accomplishing the succeeding activities and tasks.

We would like to clarify that there is no need for you to teach your daughter any of the topics.
Asynchronous activities before a synchronous session are a means to introduce the topic and
give initial input about it. Any formative assessment given, such as quizzes in any form, are
precisely for the teachers to gauge how much the pupils have gained through the materials sent
to them. Such assessments are not graded. Therefore, there is no need to coach your daughter
so that she will get a high score on the assessment. Allow the process to take place because the
teacher has a plan on how to proceed.

The asynchronous activities are basically the same thing that happens in in-campus learning. We
introduce the topic, give initial input then proceed to deepen the lesson. This deepening takes
place during the synchronous sessions. Then more asynchronous activities are done to further
the learning.

THE GRADE SCHOOL VAULT

To facilitate things for parents, we have created a website where all modules per week will be
stored:

Just click the dropdown arrow beside your daughter's grade level and select the page of the week
you wish to view.

Beside some modules are word documents summarizing what you need to know as parents such
as materials to prepare or print. If you do not see such a summary, you may refer to the simplified
module itself and just see what your daughter needs to do BEFORE SYNCHRONOUS SESSION 1
only.

This website is created for parents so that you can always refer back to this page and not have to
scroll through many posts in the LMS. This website is for ICA Grade School parents only. The
instructional materials provided in this website are for the sole use of the Grade School pupils
and Grade School parents of Immaculate Conception Academy Greenhills. Screen capture,
