1. 5 pencil and 7 pens together cost Rs 50, whereas 7 pencils and 5 pens together cost Rs 46. Form the
linear equation. (1)

5. The larger of two supplementry angle exceeds the smaller by 18 degree. Find the them. (2)
6. The ratio of income of two person is 9:7 and the ratio of their expenditures is 4:3. If each of them
manages to save Rs. 2000 per month Find their omthly income. (4)
7. If we add 1 to the numerator and subtract 1 from the denominator, a fraction reduces to 1. It becomes
½ if we only add 1 to the denominator. What is the fraction? (2)
8. The Sum of two digit number and number obtain by reversing the digits is 66 If the digit of the
number differ by 2 . Find the number. (4)
9. Five years ago, Nuri wa thrice as old as sonu. Ten years later, Nuri will be twice as old as sonu, How
old are Nuri and Sonu? (3)
