DAILY ROUTINE SCHEDULE
Two-Hour Morning Session

ACTIVITY TIME 8:16-8:30
OUTDOOR TIME 8:31-8:45
SNACK TIME 8:46-9:00
REST TIME 9:01-9:15

GOODBYE 9:46-10:00
FREE PLAY let children choose activities according to their interest. Whether it
may be playing with the blocks and cars or painting and decorating some art work
or reading a book.
MEETING TIME gathers all the children to engage in many opportunities for
participation and sharing. This includes Greetings, Weather, Calendar, Attendance
and introduction to activities.
ACTIVITY TIME is the period when the children work on planned activities for
the concept or theme for the day or week.
OUTDOOR TIME is a favorite among children. Done every day for at least 30
minutes, outdoor activities include free play, sand play, water play as well as
organized games.
SNACK TIME focuses on teaching children practical life lessons such as preparing
a meal and feeding oneself. Teaches children also table etiquette. Teachers should
be aware of the children religious or medical restrictions when serving snacks.
REST NAP/NAP TIME allow the children some rest from all active activities they
do in school. Some children fall asleep during this time which indication that their
tired bodies need to rest.
CIRCLE TIME is the time for gathering around music, movements and songs.
STORY TIME is an activity that allows children to learn new words, places and
explore their imaginations.
GOODBYE TIME is the period to recall what happened during their day.
