Question Tags

Rules:

1. Use the auxiliary being used!

does, do, did, can, could, must, have, has, had, will, would, etc

2. When verb is being used, pay attention to the tenses of the verb, present= don't or doesn’t,
past = didn’t

He eats a lot, doesn’t he?

He saw it, didn’t he?
They want it, don’t they?

3. Use won’t you for polite request and will you or would you for command
4. For sentence with these or those, use ‘they’
5. For negative word like ‘never’ use positive tag
6. For subject everyone, nobody, use ‘they’
7. Sentence starting with let’s use ‘shall we?’
8. Sentence with ‘I am’ use ‘Aren’t I’
9. For asking information, or asking for a favour, rising intonation.
10.Use falling intonation to ask for agreement
