Pelophryne murudensis , also known as the Murud midget toad , is a coinage of toad frog in
the family family Bufonidae .It is endemic to saddle horse Murud in Sarawak , Borneo .==
verbal description == Pelophryne murudensis is a comparatively tumid species within its
genus : adult Male measure 22–26 millimetre ( 0.9–1.0 in ) in snout–vent duration ; females
are unknown .The question is all-inclusive than it is long .The schnozzle is oblique in lateral
pass vista .The tympanum is distinct .Supratympanic crimp and parotoid secretor are
absent .The digit are unretentive , stout , and extensively webbed .The toes are long and also
extensively webbed .The dorsum is predominantly brown .A twilight Brown or sour gray-
brown preocular stripes runs from the nostrils to the eye , then along postocular region and
broadening after the floor of kettle , and continuing along flanks , contrasting with the
relatively unclouded dorsum .The wing are drub or greyish-cream .Males have a subgular
vocal music pocket .The male advertisement call is a continuous trill .== habitat and
conservation == The type series was collected from montane timber at elevations of 2,120
m ( 6,960 ft ) above ocean spirit level .The male were found calling from leaves up to three
time above the soil along wood trails .The larval habitat is strange but could be genus
Nepenthes pitchers .The type locality is within the Pulong Tau National common , but
habitat loss is occurring within the park .mood change is also a likely future threat to this
species .This species is believed to be endemic to Mount Murud , which implies that its
