Worldcoin is an iris biometric cryptocurrency project developed by San Francisco and Berlin-based Tools
for humanity. Founded in 2019 by OpenAL chief executive sam Altman,Max Novendstern and Alex
Blania,it is backed by VC Andreessen Horowitz.

The way the transcation works is simple: users send their tokens from the word coin app to a crypto
wallet address specified by the buyer. upon receipt of the token,the buyer sends cash to their mobile
money wallets or hands them cash.

Worldcoin is only interested in a user uniqueness -i.e, that they have not signed up for worldcoin before-
not their identity.'' Worlcoin has also been criticized for widely promoting the platform in the developing
world. A significant portion of a new users are in Asia and Africa, raising concerns about exploitation.
