Personal Reflection
Reflecting on my recent experience in a group project, I found that clear communication and
defined roles were crucial for our success. Initially, we struggled with coordinating our
efforts, leading to some duplicated work and missed deadlines. However, once we established
a more structured communication plan and assigned specific roles based on individual
strengths, our efficiency improved significantly. Personally, I developed better time-
management and leadership skills, particularly in mediating conflicts and ensuring everyone
stayed on track.
Emotionally, the experience was a rollercoaster. There were moments of frustration when
things didn’t go as planned, but also a sense of accomplishment when we delivered a well-
received final product. I built strong relationships with a few team members, which I believe
will be beneficial in future projects.
Looking ahead, I’ve learned the importance of early organization and setting clear
expectations. In future group work, I will advocate for more upfront planning and regular
check-ins to ensure everyone is aligned and engaged
