Sub.: Letter of Engagement on Assignment.

With reference to your application and formal interaction you had with us, we are offering an
engagement of “Supervisor” on Assignment purely on temporary basis engagement for our
project site at NTPC LARA w.e.f. ……………. on the following terms & conditions.

01. This engagement on assignment basis will be for a period up to 14.02.2024 for which you
will be paid per day Emoluments of ₹.724/-(Rs. Seven Hundred Twenty Four only) as
basic pay, Necessary PF,ESIC deduction and Company contribution will be done as per
company norms & applicable legal requirement.
02. You will be paid @ 0.96% of basic as National Holidays wage payment.
03. You will be paid ₹ 2000/- Per Month as Conveyance allowance.
04. You will be paid ₹ 1000/- Per Month as Mobile allowance.
05. You will be paid ₹ 1500/- Per Month as House Rent allowance.
06. You will be entitled to avail one normal weekly off.
07. Your engagement is without having further claim for re-engagement in any form
whatsoever. Your engagement on assignment basis may be considered for renewal on
requirement basis on mutually agreed terms & conditions. This engagement may also
be discontinued terminated at any time by either party by giving one month notice in
writing or by payment of one month basic in lieu thereof. The site establishment may not
assign any reason for such termination discretion other than what is stipulated in this
paragraph. Your engagement will be terminated automatically on 14.02.2024.

08. At the end of your engagement period you will be paid following
a. Bonus @8.33% of Basic.
b. Annual Leave @5% of Basic
c. Retrenchment Benefit @4.81% of Basic
09. As regard discipline and duties, you will be subjected to rules and regulations of the client’s
office as well as UPL in force from time to time. In case of unsatisfactory performance
and/or indiscipline necessary action as deemed fit may be taken against you.
10. You are requested to produce original certificate in support of your date of birth, educational
qualification, experience and salary certificate of previous employer etc. with Xerox copies
thereof at the time of joining.

If you are agreeable to the above, please return the duplicate copy of this letter of engagement
duly signed within 10 days as a token of your acceptance of this letter.
