MONOLOG
The distance between Madakaripura Forest Park and the waterfall is 400 meters, about five
minutes on foot.
After enjoying photo spots at Madakaripura Forest Park, visitors can continue their journey to
Madakaripura Waterfall.
It is said that this waterfall was once the hermitage of the leading mahapatih of the Majapahit
Kingdom, namely Gadjah Mada.
Madakaripura waterfall is surrounded by circular cliffs and the waterfall flows through the
gaps in the cliffs, forming a curtain-like shape.
The atmosphere at Madakaripura Waterfall is cool, beautiful and calming with a clear natural
pool.
Visitors can capture moments against the backdrop of the highest waterfall in Indonesia
Madakaripura Waterfall is suitable to visit at the end of the rainy season, which is around

Before seeing the waterfall, visitors must do trekking to reach the waterfall point. The
journey takes approximately 20 minutes from the entrance.
