DDCA HOT WEATHER TOURNAMENT 2023-24

Apart from the DDCA League Rules and regulations for 40 overs matches, the following additional
rules are applicable for Hot Weather matches for 2023-24:-

1. Matches will be played on Knock Out basis.

2. 40 overs a side matches.
3. White Dress.
4. Red Ball.
5. In case of washout and interruption and both sides not playing 15 overs each match will be decided
by a super over and if the super over is not possible due to wet conditions then the match will be
decided by spin of coin. From quarter final stage a reserve day will be kept for a rematch in case the
match is not completed (15 overs a side) on the first day. The match will start fresh on the reserve
day and if the match is still not completed on reserve day (15 overs a side) then the match will be
decided by a super over and if the super over is not possible due to wet conditions then the match
will be decided by spin of coin.
6. A minimum of 15 overs play will constitute a match.
7. Apart from the players who have represented a club in the league, you can also include 3 players
from the clubs who have not qualified for the Hot Weather Tournament. The player whose team has
not qualified must have played at least 1 league match during the year.
8. Half Hour lunch break after completion of First Innings. Lunch, water, glucose and lemon will be
provided by DDCA on all grounds.
