Okay before I explain the clothes that I wear, I wanna tell
you guys about what we are wearing right now is Malay
deli traditional clothing,origin from the deli region in
North Sumatra, Indonesia. This clothing has elegant and
diverse characteristics, often used in formal events or
cultural celebrations.
History, Medan was the territory of the Sultanate of Deli.
That is why, Medan is also often known as the Land of
Deli. The historical evidence that is very famous in
Medan is the Great Mosque of Al Mahsun and Maimun
Palace. So, in the days before Medan was officially
established, the story at that time was held by the Deli
Malay people.
3.Batak Toba (Kebaya Batak Toba)

has its own traditional clothing that shows special
characteristics to make it different from other provinces,
starting from where the clothes came from, when they were
worn, what accessories they have and what the name of the
clothes is
So as you can see above my head I use a gold crown called
sunting melayu which looks luxurious, then behind my head
there is a yellow shawl as a head covering, then here there
is a gold brooch, and I am wearing a gold garment called
baju kurung with a Malay accent made from songket, then
here there is a gold-colored sampin as a belt, and last I am
wearing a gold sarong also with a Malay motif and made
from songket

3. A black ulos shawl with a Batak motif and slung over the
left and right shoulders.

is a head covering.
